Job Description: Conduct geotechnical field exploration, including borings, test pits, cone penetration tests, and cross-hole seismic tests. Analyze subsurface conditions and determine soil and rock engineering parameters. Perform design for foundation elements, ground improvement, SOE (soldier pile and lagging, underpins), and structural elements such as soil/rock anchors and structural piles. Draft engineering plans utilizing AutoCAD software. Prepare proposals and cost estimates. Inspecte installation of SOE and structural elements. Set up and install vibration monitoring equipment in buildings and New York City Transit structures. $66,726/year.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, 3 month’s experience as Civil Engineer
